Say No to Drugs

Say No to Drugs
Welcome to My Blog about Saying No to Drugs! I chose this topic because of how it's important to not let medications and drugs take over your life. In the long run, drugs can take your life out and kill you. It can also make people around you not hang out with you. Drugs are bad and shouldn't be used to help you, they will end up harming you as well.

Boston Officials are Counting Number of Empty Seats

Some seats were empty in a Dearborn Middle School class. There are conflicting reports on the school’s vacancy rate.
A Classroom from Boston

Boston School officials are trying to close some public schools. They are deciding it based on how many empty seats there are in the classrooms. It says that the number of kids has dropped 8,000 kids in a year. This is a big problem. Empty seats doesn't indicate anything. They shouldn't close schools for a ton of seats. Kids could be absent and not there. This would indicate that students wouldn't get the education they needed for college and more. If there aren't many kids in the school, they should combine with another town. It would help them out and make them feel better. It would improve their social skills more. Closing schools isn't always the way to go.

  1. The last thing the government should do it close schools. In fact they should increase the budget for each school and open new ones. Education is the most important thing to focus on and the government shouldn't think otherwise.
I'm really suprise that 8,000 kids have dropped out of school in a year. I wonder why.

  2. Closing schools would not help anyone. If the school is to small or their are to many empty seats they should combine schools. An empty seat does not mean that people are not going to school. I am suprised that 8,000 kids have dropped out of school. I wonder if it is older or younger students dropping out.

  3. If we were to start closing schools this could lead to big problems. Other school could overpopulate and kids migh not receive and education up to its full potential. Closing school will restict kids from learning which could mean many problems in the long run with many unemployed people.
